Aris Mining gold production rises 16% through third quarter
The company reported year-to-date gold production of 217.3 thousand ounces for the nine months ended September 30, 2026
Aris Mining Corporation (ARIS), a Canadian gold mining company focused on South America, reported gold production of 217.3 thousand ounces for the nine months ended September 30, 2026. This figure represents a 16% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Based on this operating performance and the outlook for the fourth quarter, the company said it remains on track to meet the lower end of its 2026 production guidance of 300,000 to 350,000 ounces.
Gold sales for the third quarter of 2026 totaled 68.4 thousand ounces at an average realized price of approximately $4,204 per ounce. These sales resulted in quarterly gold revenue of approximately $287 million and year-to-date revenue exceeding $972 million.
At the Segovia mine, owner-mined tonnes increased approximately 23% from the first quarter to the third quarter. Production from external mining partners had been affected earlier in the year by temporary constraints on access to explosives, which impacted tonnes and grades. The company said this issue was resolved in September under the new Colombian administration, which positions partner production to increase toward planned ramp-up levels.
At the Marmato mine, the company commissioned the new Cascabel 3 filtered tailings facility. The transition from Cascabel 2 required approximately four weeks of flotation plant downtime, which the company used to complete upgrades and maintenance. This downtime contributed to lower production in the third quarter. Marmato produced 5.8 thousand ounces of gold in the third quarter, compared to 9.3 thousand ounces in the second quarter and 7.8 thousand ounces in the first quarter.
Construction of the new CIP plant at Marmato continues to advance toward first gold in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company said that the Segovia and Marmato expansions are expected to support annual gold production of approximately 500,000 ounces once fully ramped-up. This target reflects expected steady-state annual production of approximately 300 thousand ounces at Segovia and 200 thousand ounces at Marmato.
Beyond these sites, the company is preparing the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the Soto Norte gold project in Colombia. A construction decision for the Toroparu gold project in Guyana is expected in early 2027, following a Prefeasibility Study currently in progress.
