The energy company recorded consolidated revenue of 53.45 trillion won for the first half of 2026.

The energy company, SK Innovation, reported a consolidated operating profit of 5.65 trillion won for the first half of 2026. This follows a period of lower profitability in 2025, when the company recorded an operating profit of 448.68 billion won. Consolidated revenue for the same period in 2026 reached 53.45 trillion won.

Performance was driven largely by the energy and chemical segment, which generated 42.57 trillion won in revenue and 5.05 trillion won in operating profit during the first half of 2026. This segment represents 80% of the company's total revenue. The company's oil business remains the largest contributor, accounting for 64% of total revenue as of the first half of 2026.

The battery and materials segment returned to profitability, posting an operating profit of 337.93 billion won in the first half of 2026. This is a reversal from the operating losses of 1.17 trillion won in 2025 and 1.41 trillion won in 2024. Revenue for this segment stood at 4.85 trillion won for the first half of 2026.

The E&S business, integrated via a merger with SK E&S on November 1, 2024, contributed 6 trillion won in revenue and 386.57 billion won in operating profit for the first half of 2026. This business unit now makes up 11% of the company's total revenue.

To support its transition toward a total energy company, the company intends to secure various power generation assets and provide integrated services to industrial power users. The company also plans to expand its global LNG value chain to support its electricity business. In the battery sector, the company intends to diversify into the energy storage system market and expand in the United States and renewable energy sectors. The company expects to secure an annual production capacity of over 179GWh by the end of 2026 to meet customer demand.
