NH Investment & Securities, a comprehensive financial investment company, recorded consolidated net income of 965.1 billion won for the first half of 2026. This follows a consolidated net income of 465.1 billion won during the same period in the previous year. The company reported consolidated total assets of 114.6766 trillion won and equity of 10.866 trillion won for the period.
Commission income grew 112.3% year-on-year to 1.1826 trillion won. Brokerage services contributed 795 billion won, representing 35.2% of the total net operating revenue. Investment banking services added 205.5 billion won, while financial product sales generated 125.9 billion won.
Operating profit for the first half of 2026 reached 1.3179 trillion won, up from 611 billion won in the prior-year period. The sales segment drove this growth with an operating profit of 877.5 billion won, compared to 229.6 billion won in the previous year. The investment banking segment reported an operating profit of 150.7 billion won, while the trading segment recorded 152.6 billion won.
Standalone net income for the period was 844.4 billion won, compared to 429.2 billion won for the same period last year. Basic earnings per common share rose to 2,235 won from 1,244 won.
To secure new growth drivers in the retail sector, the company said it received authorization for the Investment Management Account business. The company is also focusing on AI transformation and the advancement of customer-centric platforms to respond to digital shifts.
In its overseas operations, the company maintains seven local subsidiaries and one office. The Hong Kong subsidiary serves as a core hub for investment banking, sales and trading, and overseas stock trading platforms. The New York subsidiary is actively seeking major deals through its investment banking desk and the operation of an overseas stock trading platform.
