Amorepacific Operating Profit Rises 59.3% in Q2 2026

The cosmetics maker reported second quarter consolidated revenue of 1.1759 trillion won.

The cosmetics maker reported a 17.0% increase in consolidated revenue to 1.1759 trillion won for the second quarter of 2026. Operating profit for the same period rose 59.3% to 117.3 billion won. The company said it pursued structural improvements by strengthening its competitiveness in online channels and multi-brand shops while refining its offline channel presence. It also focused on fostering representative products and core categories for its brands to improve competitiveness.

Cosmetics remained the primary driver of the business, accounting for 89.5% of total revenue at 2.0683 trillion won. The hair and beauty segment contributed 243.3 billion won, representing 10.5% of the total. In terms of distribution, overseas subsidiaries and exports were the largest revenue source at 48%, followed by domestic sales at 39% and duty-free and cross-border channels at 13%.

Product pricing showed stability across most categories. The price of Sulwhasoo Jaum 2-set rose to 150,000 won from 140,000 won in the previous period. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask and Hera Black Cushion maintained prices at 22,000 won and 74,000 won respectively. In the hair and beauty segment, Mise-en-scène Perfect Serum remained at 15,000 won, while Ryo Jayangyunmo Shampoo stayed at 17,000 won.

The company identified climate change as both a risk and an opportunity. Potential risks include rising electricity costs due to decarbonization policies and the possibility of failing to meet shifting consumer demands for eco-friendly products. Conversely, the company sees opportunities in increasing sales through eco-friendly products and developing new items adapted to climate change. Total greenhouse gas emissions fell to 190,880 tCO2-eq in 2025 from 211,695 tCO2-eq in 2024.

Capital investment during the first half of 2026 totaled 52.762 billion won. This included 29.649 billion won for management efficiency, 15.247 billion won for production efficiency, 7.133 billion won for sales growth, and 733 million won for research and development.
