Triple Flag Precious Metals net earnings rise to $116.9 million

Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp. (TFPM), a precious metals streaming and royalty company, reported net earnings of $116.929 million for the three months ended March 31, 2026. This compared to $45.521 million for the same period in 2025. Basic earnings per share rose to $0.57 from $0.23 a share.
Revenue for the period reached $146.993 million, up from $82.245 million in the prior-year quarter. The company generated the majority of its revenue from Australia, which contributed $47.635 million, and Peru, which contributed $40.129 million. Other significant geographic contributors included Cote d'Ivoire at $19.842 million and other Latin American operations at $16.530 million.
Operating income rose to $98.398 million from $44.551 million in the previous year. Gross profit for the quarter was $105.886 million, compared to $49.934 million in the same period in 2025. The company reported a $32.133 million increase in the fair value of investments, prepaid gold interests and other, compared to a $5.617 million increase in the prior-year period.
Cash flow from operating activities rose to $113.331 million from $65.854 million. The company used $27.266 million for investing activities, primarily for the acquisition of mineral interests totaling $29.707 million. This was a decrease from the $63.511 million spent on mineral interests in the first quarter of 2025.
Financing activities resulted in a net cash use of $13.017 million. This included $11.880 million in dividends paid and $1.001 million used for the purchase of common shares through a normal course issuer bid.
Cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period were $144.319 million, an increase from $71.284 million as of December 31, 2025.
