Vox Royalty to Buy Three Australian Royalties for A$8.4 Million
The royalty company said the all-cash purchases pair producing White Dam gold with Kalman development and Sylvania exploration optionality.
Vox Royalty Corp. (VOXR) agreed to acquire White Dam Gold Royalty, Kalman Copper Royalty, and Sylvania Royalty for A$8.4 million, or about $6 million, in cash.
The three Australian interests are meant to form a single portfolio that spans current production, mid-term development, and longer-dated exploration. White Dam is a producing gold royalty, Kalman is a copper royalty tied to development work, and Sylvania is an exploration-stage royalty package.
Spencer Cole, president and chief investment officer of Vox, said the two transactions together built that mix for the $6 million cash outlay.
“With these two transactions, we have constructed a highly attractive portfolio of Australian production and development royalties for only $6 million in cash. White Dam is producing gold today and provides ongoing revenue, Kalman offers medium-term development potential through Austral Resources' existing Rocklands plant, and the Sylvania Royalty provides potential longer-term optionality across approximately 1,700km² of exploration tenure adjacent to Capricorn's expanding Karlawinda Gold Mine, including the historical Prairie Downs and Spearhole resource estimates. This is representative of the 'balanced bar-bell' of revenue and NPV that we focus on at Vox.”
White Dam supplies the revenue leg. Kalman’s copper royalty is linked to Austral Resources’ Rocklands plant, which Cole described as the route to medium-term development. Sylvania adds roughly 1,700 square kilometers of tenure near Capricorn’s Karlawinda Gold Mine, with historical Prairie Downs and Spearhole resource estimates inside the package.
The company framed the combination as a “balanced bar-bell” of revenue and net present value, the pairing it said it focuses on.
The deal is small relative to the streaming-and-royalty sector’s larger corporate combinations. Royal Gold completed acquisitions of Sandstorm Gold and Horizon Copper in October 2025, adding 40 revenue-producing royalty and stream interests, 28 in development, and 154 in evaluation and exploration. Vox’s A$8.4 million cash purchase is a different scale and a different shape: three named Australian royalties rather than a whole royalty book.
The company said the acquisitions construct a highly attractive portfolio of Australian production and development royalties.
