Doosan Enerbility expands carbon-free power focus

The energy equipment maker reports a consolidated revenue share of 52.25% from its Bobcat division.

The energy equipment maker Doosan Enerbility is aligning its operations with the 11th Basic Plan for Electricity Supply and Demand announced in 2025. This government plan includes the introduction of new large-scale nuclear plants and Small Modular Reactors. The company also expects a continued global expansion of carbon-free power sources, including hydrogen and ammonia power generation and offshore wind.

Consolidated revenue for the first half of 2026 was distributed across several business units. The Doosan Bobcat division accounted for 52.25% of the total. The Doosan Enerbility division followed with 45.49%. Other segments, including Doosan Fuel Cell and leisure operations, made up the remaining portion of the total.

Export activity remained a primary driver of the business. Exports represented 80.08% of the total consolidated revenue for the period. Domestic sales accounted for 19.92%.

Investment is being directed toward new technologies and infrastructure. The company is pursuing new business ventures in additive manufacturing and resource recycling. It is also developing core aircraft engine parts through government-led projects using gas turbine technology. Future investment plans for the Doosan Enerbility division include spending on Small Modular Reactors, gas turbines, and wind power equipment.

Operational output varied by segment during the first half of 2026. Doosan Bobcat produced 42,900 units of compact equipment for overseas markets. Doosan Fuel Cell recorded a domestic production of 98.4 MW. The company is also reviewing opportunities for hydrogen supply infrastructure to prepare for a long-term hydrogen power era.
