Glaukos Raises 2026 Sales Outlook and Flags $1 Billion 2027
Record third-quarter net sales of $211.0 million, up 58%, accompanied a lift in 2026 guidance and a preliminary 2027 target.
Glaukos Corporation (GKOS), an ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical technology company, reported record third-quarter net sales of $211.0 million, up 58% on a reported and constant-currency basis from $133.5 million a year earlier, and swung to GAAP net income of $2.0 million, or $0.03 a share, from a net loss of $16.2 million, or ($0.28) a share, in the third quarter of 2025.
That year-over-year pace accelerated from 50% reported growth in the second quarter and 41% in the first. Sequential sales rose 13.7% from $185.6 million in the second quarter.
The company said the results reflected growing iDose TR adoption, broader interventional glaucoma initiatives, and Epioxa. Chairman and chief executive Thomas Burns said the quarter left Glaukos positioned to sustain growth from those two drivers.
U.S. Glaucoma net sales were a record $118.6 million, up 47% from a year earlier after 64% growth in the second quarter. iDose TR generated approximately $76 million in the third quarter. International Glaucoma net sales were $33.4 million, up 13% reported and 15% constant currency year-over-year, and down 8.9% reported from $36.6 million in the second quarter. Corneal Health net sales were a record $59.0 million, up 154% year-over-year.
GAAP gross margin was approximately 85%, compared with approximately 78% a year earlier. Non-GAAP gross margin was approximately 88%. Income from operations was $0.8 million, versus an operating loss of $16.4 million a year earlier. Non-GAAP income from operations was $27.3 million. Non-GAAP net income was $28.5 million, or $0.47 a share, versus a non-GAAP net loss of $9.2 million, or ($0.16) a share.
Selling, general and administrative expenses were $130.9 million, up 58% from $83.0 million a year earlier. Non-GAAP SG&A was $109.7 million. GAAP and non-GAAP research and development expenses were $48.1 million.
Cash, cash equivalents, short-term investments, and restricted cash were $339.8 million at September 30, 2026, up $50.5 million from $289.3 million at June 30, with no debt.
Glaukos raised 2026 net sales guidance to $775 million to $785 million from $680 million to $700 million previously, and introduced preliminary 2027 net sales guidance of $1 billion, both based on the latest foreign-currency exchange rates.
