UFP Industries to Buy Acme Skid Assets for $27 Million
The asset purchase expands UFP Packaging's pallet manufacturing and Gulf Coast customer coverage.
UFP Industries, Inc. (UFPI) agreed to buy assets of Apache Products, Inc. dba Acme Skid for approximately $27 million in an asset purchase.
The packaging company said the transaction expands UFP Packaging's pallet manufacturing footprint and strengthens its ability to serve customers throughout the Gulf Coast, which it described as one of the country's largest industrial and petrochemical markets.
The deal is expected to close on or around Nov. 16, 2026.
Chief executive officer Will Schwartz said Apache is the kind of business UFP looks for: an established market leader with long-standing customer relationships, a disciplined operation and an experienced team that has a proven track record of execution.
The company framed the purchase as a way to add pallet capacity and deepen coverage of Gulf Coast industrial and petrochemical customers through UFP Packaging.
