Iambic Therapeutics prices $150 million IPO at $16 a share

The AI drug-discovery company sold 9.375 million shares, with an additional 1.40625 million available on over-allotment.

Iambic Therapeutics, Inc. priced its initial public offering at $16.00 a share, selling 9,375,000 shares for a total offering amount of $150,000,000.00. Underwriters may purchase an additional 1,406,250 shares. The company estimated net proceeds of $135,000,000.00 after a $1.12 per-share underwriting discount.

The technology and clinical-stage life sciences company said it integrates proprietary large-scale artificial intelligence with automated chemistry and biology experimentation in what it calls molecular superintelligence. It described a unified platform spanning hit identification, lead optimization, and clinical developability, with proprietary tools including Enchant, a multimodal AI model for predicting preclinical and clinical properties, and NeuralPLexer, a flow-matching generative model for biomolecular structure prediction. It said the platform learns from its own laboratory-generated data, tightening the design-make-test loop with each cycle.

Iambic said the approach is novel and unproven and has not yet led to an approved drug product. It said there is no guarantee the platform will complete clinical trials or win approval for its own candidates or those of partners. The company said it intends to use the net proceeds, together with existing cash, to advance clinical development of its pipeline programs and for working capital and other general corporate purposes, with a possible portion for acquisitions or investments.

Shares outstanding after the offering were 47,400,796, and the resulting market capitalization was $758,412,736.00.
