Curium refiling restarts antitrust clock for Lantheus deal

Curium’s resubmission starts a fresh waiting period after a voluntary withdrawal to give the FTC more review time.

Lantheus Holdings, Inc. (LNTH) said Curium US Holdings LLC resubmitted its merger notification on September 21, 2026, starting a new 30-day antitrust waiting period for its proposed acquisition of Lantheus.

Curium voluntarily withdrew the notification on September 17 in consultation with Lantheus to give the Federal Trade Commission additional time to review the deal, Lantheus said. The company described withdrawal and refiling as a routine procedure that provides additional time for antitrust review.

Lantheus said the new waiting period is scheduled to expire on October 21, 2026, unless terminated earlier or extended, including through an FTC request for additional information and documents. Closing remains subject to required regulatory approvals, approval by Lantheus stockholders and other closing conditions, the company said.
