Elemental Royalty to Close Vizsla Acquisition Soon
Antitrust approval clears the last regulatory hurdle for Elemental’s purchase of Vizsla’s Panuco silver-gold royalties.
Elemental Royalty Corporation (ELE) has received antitrust approval, the final regulatory milestone needed to complete its acquisition of Vizsla Royalties Corp., and looks forward to announcing the closing of the transaction soon.
The deal gives Elemental exposure to Vizsla’s 2.0% to 3.5% net smelter returns royalties on Vizsla Silver Corp.’s Panuco silver-gold project in Mexico.
Chief Executive David M. Cole said: “Receiving Antitrust approval is the final regulatory milestone needed to complete the acquisition of Vizsla Royalties, and we look forward to announcing the closing of the Transaction soon.”
The transaction is expected to close shortly.
The Panuco royalties sit on a Mexican silver-gold asset operated by Vizsla Silver. Elemental, a royalty company, will hold the net smelter returns stream once the deal closes.
The release did not specify the deal’s structure, exchange ratio, cash price, or premium.
Cole’s comment framed the antitrust clearance as the last remaining condition before close.
The company expects to announce the closing soon.
