HLB Expands Media Commerce and Bio Portfolios

The company established three new subsidiaries through Original Archive in early 2026.

The healthcare and bio company HLB expanded its business structure into four divisions, including healthcare, bio, shipbuilding, and media commerce. To diversify its market presence, the company used Original Archive to establish three new subsidiaries in early 2026. These new entities focus on launching a cosmetics brand, enhancing expertise in health functional foods, and expanding commerce channels through strategic partnerships with influencers.

In the bio sector, the company is advancing the development of Rivoceranib. For the treatment of first-line liver cancer, the company submitted resubmission documents to the U.S. FDA on January 23, 2026, following a second complete response letter received in March 2025. The company also completed phase 3 trials for a late-stage gastric cancer treatment and is preparing a New Drug Application for the U.S. FDA.

Corporate restructuring continued with the absorption of HLB Science on December 31, 2025. The company also shifted its primary business classification to the manufacture of medical substances and pharmaceuticals in December 2022.

To support its subsidiaries, the company acquired shares of Elevar Therapeutics and Immunomic Therapeutics in August and October 2025. These acquisitions were intended to provide operating funds and support the preparation of new drug developments.
