Blue Owl Adds $4 Billion as Asset Growth Slows
Assets under management increased about 1.3% QoQ to $319 billion.
Blue Owl Capital (OWL), the alternative-asset manager, increased assets under management by $4 billion, or about 1.3% QoQ, to $319 billion in the quarter.
The asset base grew by at least $35 billion YoY from more than $284 billion, extending the firm’s expansion over the past year.
The quarterly pace moderated. Assets under management had risen by roughly $8 billion in the first quarter and $12 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, compared with the latest $4 billion increase.
Blue Owl therefore ended the period with a larger pool of managed assets, though its sequential addition was the smallest of the three most recent quarterly increases.
The firm maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.23 per Class A share. The payout remained $0.005, or 2.2%, above the $0.225 declared for the year-earlier quarter.
The unchanged dividend kept capital returns steady as Blue Owl’s assets continued to grow, with the slowing quarterly pace leaving future fundraising and deployment as the key indicators for the next leg of expansion.
