Repligen Raises 2026 Revenue Outlook After BioLife Close

Third-quarter revenue reached $209.3 million, up 11% as reported and 12.5% organic, as the company lifted full-year guidance to $844 million–$852 million.

Repligen Corporation (RGEN), a global bioprocessing company, reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $209.3 million, up 11% as reported and 12.5% organic from a year earlier, and raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $844 million–$852 million after closing its BioLife Solutions acquisition.

Organic growth slowed from 13% in the second quarter, a period the company had described as a sequential acceleration. Reported growth of 11% included a 1-point contribution from acquisitions and divestitures and 1 point from currency.

President and Chief Executive Officer Olivier Loeillot said the quarter was a record, with demand improving across the portfolio, healthy trends in consumables and services, and a growing capital equipment order book.

GAAP results reversed. The company recorded a $29.5 million loss from operations and a $0.68 diluted loss per share, versus income from operations of $16.8 million and earnings of $0.26 a share a year earlier. The swing was primarily a $41.2 million intangible asset impairment charge. GAAP operating margin was (14.1)%, versus 8.9% a year earlier. GAAP gross margin was 53.0%.

On an adjusted basis, income from operations was $33.3 million and adjusted EPS was $0.53, versus $26.8 million and $0.46 a year earlier. Adjusted operating margin expanded to 15.9% from 14.2% a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA margin was 20.9%.

Adjusted operating margin compressed from 16.7% in the second quarter. Adjusted EBITDA margin eased from 21.4%.

The company closed the BioLife Solutions deal in October 2026 after announcing a definitive agreement in July at an enterprise value of about $1.5 billion. The combination is expected to be accretive to adjusted EPS by at least 5 cents in year one and at least 25 cents in year two, with at least $20 million of synergies in year one. Loeillot said integration is progressing, early customer feedback has been encouraging, and the company has already taken actions to realize a sizable portion of expected operating-expense synergies.

Full-year 2026 guidance now includes BioLife from the October 6, 2026 close. Reported growth of 14.5%–15.5% and organic growth of 12%–13% assume a neutral foreign-currency impact and an approximately 2.5-point inorganic tailwind from BioLife net of the Polymem divestiture. The prior July update had set organic growth at 10.5%–13.5% and adjusted EPS at $2.03–$2.09. The latest range is $2.05–$2.09, with operating margin of 16.0%–16.3% and adjusted EBITDA margin of about 21%. Gross margin is guided at 53.7%–54.2%.

Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities were $863 million at September 30, 2026.

On October 23, the company opened a new Repligen Training & Innovation Center in Seoul, South Korea.
