TSE-581A Reports Higher Taxi App Use and Revenue per Ride

TSE-581A said taxi-app ride volume and average revenue per ride each rose 19.9% from a year earlier.

TSE-581A reported revenue of 41,446 million yen for the fiscal year ended May 2026, up 31.8% from a year earlier, as adjusted EBITDA increased 153.3% to 8,566 million yen and operating profit increased 158.1% to 7,041 million yen. Ordinary profit rose 145.2% to 6,457 million yen, and profit attributable to owners of the parent increased 341.8% to 8,838 million yen.

The GO business recorded its highest number of taxi-app rides, and higher average revenue per ride contributed to revenue growth.

GO business revenue reached 37,782 million yen, up 38.6% from a year earlier, while segment EBITDA rose 75.8% to 15,227 million yen and segment profit rose 74.7% to 14,835 million yen.

Operating profit reached 7,041 million yen, an increase of 4,313 million yen from a year earlier, and the operating margin improved to 17.0% from 8.7%.

Profit before income taxes rose 5,269 million yen from a year earlier to 7,238 million yen, while profit attributable to owners of the parent increased 6,838 million yen to 8,838 million yen.

Cash and cash equivalents at the end of the fiscal year totaled 34,584 million yen after increasing 9,630 million yen from the preceding year-end and decreasing 194 million yen through a corporate split.

Operating activities generated 9,609 million yen of cash during the fiscal year, with a 9,744 million yen increase in accounts payable, profit before income taxes of 7,238 million yen, and a 5,913 million yen increase in accounts receivable among the factors.

The company needs to maintain sufficient liquidity because it collects taxi-fare payments through its payment service and must remit those funds smoothly to taxi operators.

TSE-581A said it has no financial issue requiring priority action because operating cash flow supports a stable financial base, and it plans to strengthen that base through larger retained earnings and improved operating cash flow.
