Datavault AI Restates $200 Million 2026 Target After Slowdown

Second-quarter revenue was $6.7 million, up 287% from a year earlier, after first-quarter growth of 443%, as the company completed NYIAX and moved CyberCatch to a definitive deal.

Datavault AI Inc. (DVLT), an artificial-intelligence platform company focused on data monetization and real-world-asset tokenization, reported second-quarter revenue of $6.7 million, up 287% from $1.7 million a year earlier. That year-over-year pace slowed from the 443% increase the company posted in the first quarter. The company reiterated its full-year 2026 revenue target of at least $200 million, the same figure it restated in both the first-quarter update and the fiscal 2025 results.

Gross profit was $2.9 million, compared with $35,000 a year earlier. Live event production revenue was $2.84 million. Patent license revenue was $2.51 million, versus zero a year earlier. Consumer audio products, components and other revenue, net, was $1.05 million, and related-party consumer audio revenue was $316,000.

Operating expenses rose across the board. Research and development was $7.2 million. Sales and marketing was $7.2 million. General and administrative expenses were $14.9 million. Loss from operations was $26.5 million.

Net loss attributable to common stockholders was $88.0 million, or $0.12 a share, versus a $37.1 million, or $0.54 a share, loss a year earlier. The quarter included an $8.1 million crypto-asset loss and a $56.4 million impairment of investments in non-marketable securities. Weighted average common shares used in computing net loss per share were 727.6 million.

Chief Executive Officer Nathaniel Bradley said the company had made progress assembling technology, infrastructure and strategic capabilities to bring its platform to market at scale, citing the completed NYIAX acquisition, a definitive agreement to acquire CyberCatch, continued buildout of SanQtum and other commercial programs. He said the company’s focus for the second half of 2026 shifts to execution: launching exchanges, scaling SanQtum and converting contracted opportunities into commercial activity and recognized revenue.

Datavault AI completed the acquisition of NYIAX, its fifth owned exchange and a source of programmatic, blockchain-based ad-contract infrastructure for the Information Data Exchange. It entered a definitive agreement to acquire CyberCatch Holdings, Inc., after a May 2026 binding letter of intent, with the proposed deal expected to integrate AI-enabled cyber-risk mitigation and quantum-resistant security into the SanQtum edge platform. The company advanced a collaboration with Fiserv, continued a nationwide SanQtum GPU edge buildout with Available Infrastructure after initial New York and Philadelphia deployments, and expanded sports and entertainment licensing, including Tyson Fury, Roberto Clemente, Darryl Strawberry and Dwight “Doc” Gooden.

On July 17, 2026, after the quarter closed, Datavault AI announced the tokenization and monetization of Available Infrastructure’s Project Qestrel, a planned nationwide fleet of 1,000 cybersecure edge data centers across 100 U.S. cities and more than 30 states. The company intends to use its patented tokenization technology and Information Data Exchange platform to create $QEST utility tokens representing access and usage rights to compute capacity across that network. Forward-looking statements in the release include the expectation that the total tokenized value of the Project Qestrel program will exceed $1 billion.

Cash and cash equivalents were $1.40 million at June 30, 2026, down from $2.00 million at December 31, 2025. Crypto assets were $49.0 million. Common shares outstanding were 854.5 million. The company reiterated its previously announced full-year 2026 revenue target of at least $200 million, which it described as an approximately 400% growth rate year over year. Bradley and Chief Financial Officer Brett Moyer hosted an investor conference call on August 19, 2026.
