WhiteFiber acquires North Carolina properties to expand utility capacity
The company entered into a definitive agreement to purchase two industrial sites for $60.0 million.
WhiteFiber (WYFI), the industrial infrastructure provider, expanded its footprint in North Carolina through a definitive agreement to acquire two new industrial properties, NC-2 and NC-3, for $60.0 million. The purchase extends the company's operations beyond its existing NC-1 campus.
The acquisition is expected to provide an initial gross utility capacity of at least 60 MW. The company said this capacity has the potential to grow to approximately 200 MW over time, with the sites targeted to be ready for service in the third quarter of 2027.
This asset purchase followed a shift in the company's capital allocation strategy. In May 2026, WhiteFiber secured a $100 million delayed-draw facility to provide general growth liquidity. By August 2026, the company had moved from maintaining that general liquidity to executing the specific $60 million acquisition of the North Carolina properties.
