Direct exports account for 95.2% of the overseas business division's sales, primarily targeting the Americas, Europe, and China. To further its presence in the Chinese market, the company began construction of the Samyang Foods (Zhejiang) Jiaxing plant in November 2025.
Beyond noodles, the company is expanding its presence in the sauce and seasoning market. This division generated 53.38 billion won in revenue, with 36.73 billion won coming from exports and 16.64 billion won from domestic sales. The company said it is utilizing the global recognition of the Buldak brand to grow its sauce business and is focusing on the B2B market to meet the needs of food service companies and franchises,.
Other business segments contributed smaller portions of the total revenue. The frozen food division recorded 33.8 billion won in sales, and the nutrition division reported 1.48 billion won. The company said it intends to aggressively expand its frozen food business by leveraging the popularity of its core brands and is investing in plant-based frozen products to create new food cultures.
Financial obligations shifted during the period. Short-term borrowings, excluding bonds, decreased to 13.78 billion won at the end of the current half from 62.32 billion won at the end of the previous period. These borrowings are described as temporary funds resulting from export transactions.
The company continues to diversify its corporate structure. It established Samyang Foods UK Limited as a new subsidiary. The company also noted that it expects the market for health foods and convenient plant-based protein products to grow as consumer trends shift toward healthy eating habits.
