Hims & Hers Restores Domestic Growth After a First-Quarter Drop

Second-quarter revenue reached $753.2 million, up 38% from a year earlier, and the company lifted full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $3.1 billion to $3.3 billion.

Hims & Hers Health (HIMS), the global health and wellness platform, reported second-quarter revenue of $753.2 million, up 38% from a year earlier, a sharp reacceleration from 4% year-over-year growth in the first quarter.

The turn was concentrated in the United States. Domestic revenue was $621.8 million, up 16% year-over-year, after an 8% year-over-year decline in the first quarter. Chief Financial Officer Yemi Okupe said domestic revenue growth accelerated to 16% and that the company expects the domestic business to continue accelerating through the second half of the year.

Rest of the World revenue was $131.4 million. The international business grew more than 17-fold, strengthened by the close of the Eucalyptus acquisition in June. That acquisition had been excluded from the prior outlook.

Subscribers ended June at 2.891 million, up 19% year-over-year, after 9% year-over-year growth to 2.584 million in the first quarter. Monthly revenue per average subscriber was $92, reversing a 6% year-over-year decline in the first quarter. Okupe said the quarter was defined by a reacceleration in the growth profile and expanding reach of the platform.

Profitability did not keep pace with the top-line rebound. Gross margin was 64%, down from 76% a year earlier. Net loss was $86.3 million, or $0.37 a share, versus net income of $42.5 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA was $60.3 million, an 8% margin. The Adjusted EBITDA reconciliation added $47.5 million of legal contingencies, versus none a year earlier, and $4.6 million of additional restructuring and other related charges tied to the 2026 U.S. weight-loss announcement. Free cash flow was $68.2 million of use.

Marketing expense was $262.2 million. Operations and support were $95.5 million, technology and development $54.9 million, and general and administrative $165.4 million. Cost of revenue was $272.4 million.

The company raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $3.1 billion to $3.3 billion from $2.8 billion to $3.0 billion and updated Adjusted EBITDA guidance to $275 million to $325 million from $275 million to $350 million. For the third quarter of 2026, it expects revenue of $880 million to $900 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $75 million to $95 million, a 9% to 11% margin. It reiterated 2030 targets of at least $6.5 billion in revenue and $1.3 billion in Adjusted EBITDA.

Cash and cash equivalents were $609.8 million at June 30, 2026. Goodwill was $1.10 billion. Deferred acquisition payable was $537.4 million current and $165.6 million long-term. Convertible senior notes, net, were $1.37 billion.

Co-founder and CEO Andrew Dudum said the company is delivering a health experience at global scale for nearly 3 million people and that it has never been better positioned to move faster. Okupe said momentum combined with efficiencies from investments in AI and technology positions the company to make access to high-touch care more affordable while expanding internationally.
