Atmus Filtration Raises Full-Year Outlook as Sales Hit Record
The filtration specialist reported record second-quarter net sales of $528 million.
Atmus Filtration Technologies (ATMU) reported record net sales for the second quarter, driven by strategic acquisitions and volume growth.
The results marked a period of acceleration for the filtration maker, as the company leveraged the Koch Filter acquisition and favorable pricing to drive top-line growth.
Net sales reached $528 million, a 16.4% increase from the $454 million reported in the second quarter of 2024. This followed a sequential rise from $478 million in the first quarter of 2025. Gross margin as a percent of net sales expanded to 29.2%, up from 28.6% in the prior quarter and 28.9% in the same period last year.
Growth was distributed across both primary business lines. Power Solutions net sales rose to $486 million, compared with $439 million in the first quarter. Industrial Solutions net sales grew to $42 million from $38 million in the previous quarter.
Adjusted EBITDA margin was 20.7% for the quarter. While this figure was a slight compression from the 21.0% margin reported in the second quarter of 2024, it represented a sequential improvement over the 19.8% margin recorded in the first quarter of 2025.
Atmus raised its full-year 2025 guidance across multiple metrics. The company increased its total net sales forecast to a range of $1.975 billion to $2.03 billion, up from a previous range of $1.945 billion to $2.015 billion. Adjusted EPS guidance was raised to $2.85–$3.00 a share from $2.75–$3.00 a share, and the Adjusted EBITDA margin forecast was narrowed to 19.75%–20.25%.
Cash generation improved as adjusted free cash flow rose to $67 million, up from $36 million in the second quarter of 2024 and $33 million in the first quarter of 2025. The company used a portion of its capital to repurchase $13 million of common stock during the quarter, compared to $7 million in the first quarter.
