Xperi Keeps 2026 Outlook After Advertising Growth

Advertising and related revenue reached $14.98 million in the second quarter, up 54% from a year earlier, as TiVo One monthly active users hit 6.3 million.

Xperi Inc. (XPER), a media and entertainment technology company, reported advertising and related revenue of $14.98 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up 54% from $9.73 million a year earlier, as monthly active users on the TiVo One ad platform reached 6.3 million.

The company said footprint expansion helped drive the advertising increase. Chief executive Jon Kirchner said the 70% year-over-year rise in TiVo One users, to 6.3 million, positions the company to achieve a year-end goal of 7 million users.

Total revenue was $114.5 million, compared with $105.9 million a year earlier. Licensing and other revenue was $99.51 million.

GAAP operating income was $2.9 million, versus an $11.1 million loss a year earlier. GAAP net loss narrowed to $1.5 million, or $0.03 a share. Non-GAAP net income was $13.6 million, or $0.28 a share. Non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA was $24.5 million, and the adjusted EBITDA margin was 21.4%.

Media Platform revenue grew 44% year over year. Trailing 12-month ARPU for TiVo One was $6.70. The company said it executed homepage video campaigns in the U.S. and Europe and advanced integration of the TiVo One ad platform with partners including Teads and Kargo.

The DTS AutoStage platform footprint grew 42% year over year to 17 million cumulative vehicles across 13 automotive brands. Kirchner said AutoStage began generating revenue from listener analytics and data. BYD joined the AutoStage program as the 14th automotive brand and committed to deploy the audio and video platform across export models. Cumulus became the first customer for advanced analytics in the DTS AutoStage broadcaster portal; that revenue is advertising-related and will be recognized within Media Platform. The company also signed a multi-year HD Radio program with a large Asian Tier 1 supplier.

Global IPTV subscriber households were 3.4 million, up 13% year over year. The company said it executed a partnership for Programmatic Dynamic Ad Insertion with the National Cable Television Cooperative and entered agreements with NCTC member operators Summit Broadband, EPB, and Buckeye to adopt TiVo as their PDAI platform.

Consumer Electronics closed a multi-year renewal for DTS audio solutions, including new commitments for DTS Clear Dialogue across multiple TV and PC brands, and renewed DTS agreements with Sony, Yamaha, Pioneer, Insignia, MSI, and Tecno Reallytek.

The company maintained full-year guidance of $440 million to $470 million in revenue and a 17% to 19% adjusted EBITDA margin, along with operating cash flow of $15 million to $25 million, non-GAAP tax expense of about $20 million, and a basic and fully diluted share count of 48 million to 49 million.

It increased its capital expenditures outlook to approximately $25 million, from a prior range of $15 million to $20 million, citing continued constraints in the memory market that resulted in price increases in planned capital equipment purchases, and said it is responding to partner demand for incremental investment to reduce memory requirements in its software platforms. Anticipated stock-based compensation was lowered to approximately $29 million, from a prior estimate of $31 million, due primarily to workforce reductions.

Cash and cash equivalents were $90.59 million at June 30, 2026.
