Kla Forecasts Revenue Jump to $4 Billion for Next Quarter

Kla (KLAC) reported fourth-quarter revenue that rose 15.2% year-over-year to $3.66 billion.
The result marked a sequential acceleration in growth, with revenues increasing 7.2% from the $3.415 billion reported in the third quarter. This trajectory contributed to full-year fiscal 2026 total revenues of $13.58 billion, up from $12.16 billion in fiscal 2025.
Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share rose to $1.05. This figure represents an increase from $0.94 in both the prior quarter and the fourth quarter of the previous year; share and per share information were retroactively adjusted following a ten-for-one stock split on June 11, 2026.
Growth was distributed across the company's primary revenue streams. Product revenue rose 14.7% year-over-year to $2.84 billion, while service revenue increased 16.7% to $820 million.
Kla projected first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue at $4.0 billion, plus or minus $200 million. This guidance suggests a significant sequential increase over the fourth-quarter actual of $3.66 billion.
Non-GAAP gross margin guidance for the first quarter is 62.5%, plus or minus 1.0%. This aligns with the midpoint of the fourth-quarter guidance range of 61.5% to 63.5%.
Capital returns for the fourth quarter were $876.3 million. The amount remained relatively flat compared to the $874.8 million returned in the third quarter.
