SharonAI Secures $1.6 Billion Financing to Expand Compute Capacity
The company closed a strategic financing round consisting of a $900 million private placement and $700 million in convertible notes.
SharonAI Holdings (SHAZ), an artificial intelligence infrastructure provider, closed a $1.6 billion strategic financing on June 29, 2026.
The capital raise signals an aggressive expansion of the company's physical and technical footprint. The financing consisted of a $900 million private placement of Class A Ordinary Common Stock and pre-funded warrants, alongside $700 million in 4.75% Convertible Senior Notes due 2032.
Infrastructure growth accelerated during the period. Total AI Factory capacity reached 132MW as of June 17, 2026, with 102MW of that capacity already contracted to end customers.
To support this scale, the company expanded its partnership with VAST Data on June 15, 2026. The agreement involves the deployment of 600PB of the VAST AI Operating System, which provides a data backbone capable of supporting approximately 100,000 GPUs.
SharonAI is scaling its hardware through a six-year strategic compute collaboration with NVIDIA. The company expects to deploy more than 55,000 NVIDIA GPUs by mid-2027, a figure that includes up to 40,000 Grace Blackwell GB300 GPUs.
The company also announced a change in its executive leadership. Anuj Goel will serve as Chief Financial Officer effective August 24, 2026, replacing Tim Broadfoot.
