Lightwave Logic Names Graffam CFO, Completes Succession
Fred Graffam’s appointment took effect July 20, ending a transition announced in September 2025.
Lightwave Logic (LWLG) appointed Fred Graffam chief financial officer, completing a leadership transition that had stretched across four reporting quarters.
The appointment concluded the succession process Lightwave Logic announced in September 2025.
Jim Marcelli, the company’s longtime chief financial officer and chief operating officer, had said he would retire at year-end when Lightwave Logic began the search for his successor.
Snizhana “Ana” Quan served as interim principal financial officer during the transition.
Quan will remain vice president of finance and corporate controller, preserving continuity in the company’s finance organization as Graffam takes charge.
Graffam’s arrival filled the permanent CFO post while keeping the interim finance leader in a senior operating role.
