New Found Gold Corp. (NFGC), a company engaged in the production and sale of gold as well as resource exploration in Newfoundland and Labrador, reported a loss and comprehensive loss of 19.1 million Canadian dollars for the three months ended March 31, 2026.

The company transitioned into gold production and sales activities following its acquisition of all issued and outstanding shares of Maritime Resources Corp. on November 13, 2025.

Equity movements during the first quarter included the exercise of stock options and warrants. Stock options exercised contributed 4.46 million Canadian dollars to the company's capital, while warrants exercised added 3.87 million Canadian dollars. The company also settled restricted stock units totaling 914,667 Canadian dollars and recorded share-based compensation of 1.71 million Canadian dollars.

Total equity shifted from 419.62 million Canadian dollars at December 31, 2025, to 405.54 million Canadian dollars by March 31, 2026.

The company stated that its ability to continue as a going concern depends on its capacity to develop profitable operations and raise adequate financing.
